Woman Will Be Judged For Playing Dog In Channel
Today we will share another sad story of animal abuse. But as the saying goes, there’s nothing you can hide for long. The truth, sooner or later, comes out. So it was in the case of this poor dog who died in a canal as a result of a young woman’s mental problems.
How it all began?
Based in Zaragoza, Spain, a Spanish family who had to travel decided that one of their 28-year-old relatives was the ideal person to take care of their beloved boxer. Nothing further from reality! But of course, who knew how bad this woman’s heart could reach?
When the family returned, their dog was no longer home. We don’t know what the woman invented as excuses; perhaps she claimed that he had gotten lost, run away, or that he had been robbed because he was a highbred and expensive dog. The point is that everything seemed to indicate that it had been an accident, and even though sadness had gripped the family, there wasn’t much to do and that’s what it was all about.
The appearance in the channel
A neighbor in the town of Zaragoza noticed that there was something floating in the Imperial Canal in Aragon, wrapped in a sheet, close to where the dog’s owners lived. Quickly, a patrol of the Spanish Civil Guard went to the scene and retrieved the volume of water.
However, the surprise was huge when they realized it was a dog! The poor animal had been thrown into the water with a cinder block strapped to its neck.
He had been dead for several days now. There were deep marks on his neck from the pressure the rope holding the block had made.
Due to the fact that the family complied with the Spanish law of putting a microchip in all pets, this boxer had one and it was quickly possible to locate his owners to tell them this very sad ending in the story of his faithful friend.
The young woman will be judged for playing the dog on the channel.
We don’t have information about what the family said when they learned what happened, but they certainly had to deal with great sadness and a terrible sense of powerlessness. It was not necessary to file complaints against her family member, as the Civil Guard itself took care of that.
This unscrupulous and unscrupulous Spanish citizen will be tried on an accusation of animal abuse and we hope that the sentence will not be light.
Spanish laws on mistreatment of animals
Despite recent improvements, Spanish laws dealing with animal abuse are still not entirely clear. This may sound a bit ironic, especially considering that Spain tops the pet abandonment list.
There is a constant struggle to get clearer laws in which these terrible people who mistreat animals can be punished in the way they deserve, and so that it is possible to defend the rights of animals, thus avoiding so many abandonments and cases as described in this article.
It is sad that the death of animals is not taken so seriously seriously, and that there are no well-established laws that do not end only with the payment of a fine.
No to mistreatment of animals
Taking a life deserves severe punishment. We were happy to know that there are organizations that fight, not only in Spain but also in other countries, to get clearer and stricter laws for people who commit mistreatment of animals, and make this a simple way to increase adrenaline.

We don’t ask you to adopt him, but if you can take care of his wound and take him to the vet, or something smaller like calling an institution to pick him up, you’ll already be doing this poor little animal some good.
