This ingredient may harm cold-blooded animals (eg reptiles). However, the use of edible-grade flour is highly recommended for animals with fur, such as cats or dogs, and its effect against skin parasites is more than proven.

Preparation

  • Sift each of the ingredients and place them in a bowl.
  • Then mix them well using a wooden spoon, preventing lumps from forming.
  • Then you just put it in the plastic container with a lid.  Using the lid is essential to prevent the dust from condensing inside, due to the humidity in the environment.
    • Store in a warm, damp place to keep it in top condition at all times.

    How to use

Brush your pet’s coat to remove any dirt that may be present. Also, brushing will help loosen some of the fleas that aren’t too attached to the fur.

Take the homemade flea flea and sprinkle it over the coat, starting from the loin to the tail. Massage your pet’s coat so that the powder penetrates well into the inner layers of the coat, either with your hand or with a brush against the fur. This will make the product distribute better.

The areas to avoid are the eyes, mouth, nose, inner ears, pelvic area and anus.  Contact with the animal’s mucous membranes may cause irritation. Therefore, you should only apply it to the chest, loin, belly, paws, tail and lower part of the neck.

Use the flea control once a month or after bathing, depending on the cleaning habits you have with your pet. However, you should know that this product should only be applied with a very dry coat.
